Hi I'm Crissi

I'm a wife, a mother, I was born on Christmas day, I'm a OB/GYN Physician Assistant, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Physician Assistant in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am a mother of an adorable, crazy little boy with a little girl on the way! I love to do most anything outdoors such as camping, hiking, bikeriding, swimming, snowboarding, and sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because first of all, my parents are. I had a testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a youth, but when I left home at age 16 I had to solidify that testimony. After reading the Book of Mormon, I followed the promise given in the last chapter of the Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:3-4, ". . .when ye shall read these things, . . .I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; if ye shall ask with a sincere heart with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you. . ." Kneeling in fervent prayer to our Heavenly Father, he granted me with the surity I needed to confirm I had not been brainwashed my whole life, that it was indeed God's church and it IS the ONLY true church on the Earth. I have since then reflected that night on my knees and all the other confirmations of truth I have recieved since then. There is no possible way that I can doubt God's existence and His love for all of us children. All these truths are taught within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am a Secretary in the women's organization. Every week I participate in a meeting with the rest of my Presidency to discuss needs of other Women in our church/ward. I am also a "visiting teacher" which means every month I have the opportunity to visit 4 sisters in their homes and make sure all is well with them.

What is the Relief Society?

Relief society is a blessing from God given to women. It is an organization that allows women to socialize with other righteous women and to be strengthened from each woman's testimony of Christ. The women in relief society also work together to relieve burdens in times of need; for example a death in the family, a new baby, illness, etc. Bringing meals or watching children allows everyone involved to come closer to Christ through this act of service. It is truly a program inspired by God! Show more Show less
