Hi I'm Janelle

I am married to a wonderful man who is a medical student and i work as a dental hygienist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work full time as a dental hygienist while my husband is going to Medical School. I love to read, watch movies, scrapbook, and cook. I would some day like to travel a lot and see other countries. I have been to Guatemala and seen many ancient sites there and loved it.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel means everything to me. It has helped me through the hard trials of life and has uplifted me and caused me great joy. Because of the church, I continue to strive to be a better person and improve myself to become more like my Savior. It has taught me who I am, why I am here and what happens after this life. This knowledge give me purpose in life. Understanding that I am a divine daughter of a Heavenly Father helps me to make correct decisions and be the example I need to be of that divinity. I know my Savior lives. I know that he suffered for me and for everyone that has ever lived, that lives now, and that will live on this earth. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon. I know that Book of Mormon is a correct book of scripture and that living by its principles gives me true happiness. I know that we have a prophet living on the earth today whose name is Thomas S. Monson and that he leads and guides this church now. I know that he is the mouthpiece of God and if we listen to his warnings and teachings, we will be on the right path to God. I hold this simple testimony dear to my heart, for it lifts me up in difficult times. I know that that Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on the earth today and that it is Christ's church. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the the church as a youth leader. I LOVE this opportunity. The youth today are amazing and strong people and are such good examples to me. I am able to teach lessons in church twice a month and attend the youth group activities every week. It is so great the see these young people serving each other and serving others willingly. Also, as female member of the church, I am responsible for visiting 2 other women in the church. This is set up to make sure that all members of the church are looked after. It is an immediate friend and is called visiting teaching. I enjoy visiting with my friends and serving them in any way I can.
