Hi I'm Garren

I'm a graphic designer, a stand-up comedian, a son, a brother and an uncle and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Garren Lofgreen. I grew up in Mesa, Arizona and lived there until I went to school at BYU. I took two years off to serve a mission in Southern Mexico. When I returned I applied for and was accepted into the graphic design program at BYU. A couple years later I started performing stand-up comedy with a group of friends. After graduation I moved back to Mesa where I'm working at a graphic design firm in Phoenix as well as working for a non-profit organization located in Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but that doesn't mean I'm living off of another person's testimony. I'm a Mormon because I have lived the principles of the gospel, seen the blessings from doing so, and felt a confirmation of the spirit that they are true.

How I live my faith

I feel like it's important to live the gospel everyday, not just on Sundays or when it's convenient. For me this starts with a friendly attitude and continues with serving others. I work with a non-profit organization in Provo that does a lot of good for the community. I've also had many opportunities within the church to serve others, this includes serving a two-year mission to Mexico among other callings serving those that live around me.
