Hi I'm Justin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Dad with a wonderful wife and 2 children. I love to make things with my hands. I design and make jewelry for a living and have fun doing it. My hobbies include hiking, camping, leather work, flint napping, pottery, fire making, and many other survival skills and crafts. I love art and love teaching my children about it. I like playing soccer and now enjoy watching my son play it. I love to travel and have lived in many places such as Argentina and Lao P.D.R. I love life and I'm happy to have a wonderful family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life and feel very blessed to have been born into it. Although growing up wasn't always easy there came a time in my life where I had to find out for myself whether or not the teachings of the church were true. There was a time I lived in Hawaii and it was there for the first time I really started to pay attention to the gospel teachings in a personal way. Although I have always felt the church was true it wasn't until this time in my life that I recognized the spirit and knew with certainty and with out a doubt that Jesus Christ lives and the teachings I had been taught all my life were true. Within a year later from that time I was able to go on a mission and teach God's message to others. I am a Mormon because I know that the teachings are true and they come from our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My life and understanding of it would not be the same without knowing the truth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by doing my best at creating a home where my whole family can feel needed and loved. Although I work a lot I try to spend as much time with my family as I can so that we can build up relationships that will last forever. I also visit a few members of the church every month. I enjoy learning about them and helping them when in need or just being friends. I love the scriptures and learning their stories. I pray every day and talk with our Heavenly Father so that I can stay close to him. It is my faith to keep on learning and growing so that I can become a better person. Serving in the church and serving others whether it is family, friends, or people I don't even know, I know that it helps me to become a better person.
