Hi I'm Kemp

I am a husband, father of three and helicopter pilot for the US Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Blackhawk pilot, I have served one combat tour in Iraq in the Baghdad area. Because of my deployment I have been able to see Babylon. Nothing much to report. My family is great! I love them so much. My wife is a beautiful loving mother. I have two sons and a daughter. My oldest is seven and enjoys school. My youngest son is funloving and wants to be a superhero when he grows up. My daughter is eighteen months old-my wife and I got her while I was in Iraq. She is beautiful and she has Down Syndrome. We finalized her adoption earlier this year. We love her so much. Besides raising my family, in the past 10 years I have enjoyed traveling, attending college, serving my country as a Marine, then an Air Force reservist and a soldier. Long term planning isn't a passion of mine! Who knows what lies around the corner.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was twelve after receiving lessons from the missionaries. Unfortunately I didn't stick with it. Shortly after our marriage, my wife and I were discussing church and decided to "check it out again". I am so glad we did. Having the church in our lives has done nothing but good things for our family. I am happy to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

I am relatively new the area we live in now. I have not recieved a "job" for the church yet. I am a home teacher and visit three families. My companion and I simply stop by and see how the families are doing. It's a nice oppertunity to meet new people.
