Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a mom, a wife, a college graduate and a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost I am a wife and mother. I graduated with my bachelors in Health Science and loved every minute of it. I am a homemaker and artist. If you haven't deferred already, I am very evenly right and left brained. I have always loved to be creative and this has lead me to turn some of my artistic interests into more concrete passions such as photography, graphic design and fashion. But I also have a love and hunger for learning nutritional sciences and technology, which explains my educational pursuits.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but was truly converted as a young child, then again in my teens and again still in my early adult years. Each time my testimony only grew stronger and now that I am older my testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel is cemented. I find that as I am obedient to the teachings of the church my life is fuller and I am happier. As I am starting to raise a family the gospel has become a lifeline. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the redeemer of all mankind. I know that through his atonement for our sins we can repent and come to know Him and therefore come to know God. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and restored The Gospel on the earth. I know that we have a true prophet today and that prophet is President Thomas S. Monson. We are so blessed to have this knowledge and with it comes the responsibility to listen, to have faith and to do the things that will bring us closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing service in my church. I have taught the children of the church and have had the opportunity to learn from them as well. I love seeing their growing faith and love for our savior.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Temples have a special purpose on the earth and cannot be used by those who have not been prepared to enter it. It is not so much a secret as it is Sacred. To fully understand what goes on in the temple and to be blessed by it one must first qualify, then stay worthy. This opportunity is offered to anyone willing to qualify, the Lord has made it possible by restoring His gospel on the earth and His gospel is open to anyone willing to receive Him and His son, Jesus Christ.
