Hi I'm Jeanette

I am a housewife with five beautiful children. I love to read, play games with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 17 years, and have five children ranging in age from 15 to 7 years old. I stay busy by volunteering in the schools, doing chores and serving others. I love to read, and have always taken my children to the library almost every week when they were young, to go to story time and to check out new books. We love books so much in our family that we have a room just used as a library for all the books we own!! I have grown up in the church, attended and graduated from Brigham Young University in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. I have not had a job teaching since graduating because we started our family shortly after graduation. I have enjoyed being able to be home for my family, and now can serve and volunteer even more since all my children are in school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read and studied the scriptures, prayed to know if they were true, and received an answer from the Lord. He continues to bless me as I continue to be faithful and do what is asked of me. I have seen how the gospel brings joy in my life and in many others lives. It is a gospel of peace, of growth, of continuing revelation from the Lord and of Love.

How I live my faith

Right now I serve in the Nursery - helping to teach and care for children from 18 months old to 3 years old. I really enjoy this calling, as I have not had children this age for a while. It is fun to play with them, comfort them, cuddle with them, and see them learn and grow! I also make sure that my children get to activities that they are involved in with the church - Youth night (Mutual), Activity Days (8-11 year old girls), Scouts, or other activities that have been planned. It seems like there is so much going on! It is wonderful to continually associate with the wonderful people in our Ward! And to know that they live close by, and can be of assistance in times of need, or that I can assist them in their time of need.
