Hi I'm Jake

I'm a father of three and married to a wonderful wife. I am a Pediatric resident in the Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three and married to a sweet wife. I have a 6 year old daughter, a 4 year old son, and a 2 year old daughter. I am a Pediatric resident in the Army. I grew up playing sports and I still enjoy to play and watch them. I served a mission in Wasington DC among the Latin people in that area. I still speak Spanish. I love spending time with my family and to see them after a long day's work. I enjoy to read, especially war history books.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother and father both converted to the church before I was born. I grew up in the church and I have always felt that it was true. Since I was young, I have consistently felt the Spirit confirm to me that the church and its teachings are true. I know that The Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I know that if I keep God's commandments, that I can live with my family forever. What more could I ask for. This doctrine is taught by the church and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep the commandments. I avoid lying or cheating. I keep the Sabbath day holy. I do not drink alcohol or use drugs. I strive to be kind to those around me and to help those that need help. I strive to lead my family in righteousness. I teach my children correct principles and try to be a good example to them. I assure that we say prayers as a family and that we read from the scriptures daily. I go to church every Sunday to remember the Savior's sacrifice and to gain a stronger testimony.
