Hi I'm Macy

I grew up in the beautiful state of Utah. I love to run and play sports. I study aerospace engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be active outdoors, and I am always up for an adventure. I go to college and study aerospace engineering. I am also in the Army ROTC. I love my country and am completely devoted to it! I enjoy running, snowboarding/skiing, playing all sports, and spending time with friends. I love to travel and see different places. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Lord. I love my Father in Heaven and the plan He has provided for each of us to return to live with Him. I have a strong testimony of this gospel. I know it to be the truth and the way. Being a Latter-Day Saint has always made the most sense to me because it is family-oriented, and is focused on Jesus Christ. I know that through this gospel, I can live eternally with my family. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel to its fullest, and that he was a true prophet of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our true prophet today and leads us according to the will of the Lord.

How I live my faith

I help out in my ward whenever possible. I was recently released from my calling as the Laurel class president in the Young Women's organization. My duties were to help plan and prepare for activities, and promote participation. I visit teach with another woman in my ward, and we visit with and help others in the ward. I do everything I can to ensure that church functions run smoothly, and that everything is prepared. I also love to help with community events such as community breakfasts/dinners on holidays and special events.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Macy
I know that Mormonism is true because I have received revelation through God. I knew the scriptures told me it was true, but I wanted a confirmation for myself. This came through constant, thoughtful prayer, and a true desire to know. Reading the scriptures also reinforced the feelings of comfort and love that I felt. Show more Show less
