Hi I'm J Justin Draper

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three. My wife and I came up here to Provo to obtain an education and have been getting more than we bargained for! With three kids running around and me trying to finish a degree in Math Education, live can be a little stressful sometimes. Through it all though, we keep to our faith and trust that God will help us if we do our part.

Why I am a Mormon

My family raised me in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I have never questioned that. There was a time on my mission where I desperately sought my own testimony and spiritual witness, but instead of an instant of spiritual manifestation, the Lord blessed me with an ever increasing faith in his work. True, I have had very few "powerful" experiences in the Church, yet all the little things have added up to swell within my soul and proclaim in loud voice, "This church is true." I know it is and am grateful for the impact it has had on my life and now my childrens' lives.

How I live my faith

I just try to do my best every day. Whether at work, school or home, I try to be my best self. Sometimes I fail miserably and show sides of me I wish I hadn't, but the Lord knows my heart and how I truly want to do the right thing. He makes up for my mistakes and paves the way before me to return to Him if I'll just obey. I have been in the music programs and teaching callings of the church for years now. I love both and am always grateful to share a lesson or a song with my ward and friends. Playing the piano has been a part of my life since I was young, thanks to my mother, and teaching has been in the family for generations. It's what we do.
