Hi I'm Laura

I'm a foster mother. I'm a beauty Consultant. I'm a homemaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I envissioned my life much different from what it is. I am the oldest child with only two other siblings and as such I have wanted to be a mother of a big family as long as I can remember. I was thrilled when I found my best friend and eternal spouse at the age of 19 and had always though we would start trying for kids right away and within 1st year have our first one. 6 years into marriage and we still have no children of our own. We have however been blessed to be able to be foster parents and bless many more children ad other families than we ever thought possible. My hobbies and intrests are very wide and varied. I am an avid reader and love anything arts and crafts. I love looking good. I love traveling and exloring the hidden gems in places close by.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both baptized at the age of l8 and they over the years became less active. They held true to most of the vaules. While growing up we moved about every 3 years (Navy life) and we would go to church the first Sunday we lived there. When I was 11 we moved in December and it was close to Chirstmas. So we did our routine one time visit . I had felt this peace that stayed with me the whole day. Later that evening I told my parents that I would like to continue to go. So a year later me and my younger brother were baptized by my Dad. I continue to follow HIs gospel due to that overwhelming peace that I felt 15 years ago, still ever present. e

How I live my faith

I am blessed at present to teach the women of the Church. I truely enjoy learning more about the gosepel and help leading other women to know more as well. So we can raise the next generation to be strong stawlwart individuals. I have also been blessed to teach the children the gospel as well. The best way right now is sharing the gospel and the Lord's love and forgiveness with those families and children we are working with in the foster system. I love sharing it with the friends I have made of social workers. I love having my home be a place of love saftey and refuage from the world.
