Hi I'm Becky

I grew up in Oregon and Maryland. I love photography. Hanging out with friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 5 older siblings and 3 nephews and 2 nieces. My hobbies are I love to take pictures of nature and beautiful things around me. I also love to write stories and draw by how I am feeling. I am in High School currently and going to seminary every morning is difficult but totally worth it and I feel so much better the rest of the day. Seminary is where youth of the church who are in high school can go early in the morning and learn more of Jesus and about the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because my grandparents made the choice that would help the future generations. I am 2nd generation to be born in the church. If i had the opportunity to thank my grandparents everyday I would because of the choices that they made I can grow up and teach my kids a truth that helps you in life. By knowing the truth that I can see my family that has already passed comforts me tremendously so then I can learn about them and their lives. I also love being mormon because I can share such a great message to those who don't know and I can be with people who believe the same way. I also know that I am a child of god and he wants everyone to have the chance to happiness and we can do that by doing missionary work.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing personal progress. This is were young women ages 12-18 who are in Young Women program can strengthen their testimony by doing different projects related to a specific topic or value that can help us when we get married. I also live my faith by going to church each week, going to girls camp, youth conference and Mutual each Wednesday. If your wondering Girls Camp is where the young women go to grow and do service and grow stronger in relationship among girls who are there age and believe in the same way. Now youth conference is when the youth ages 14-18 which is usually a couple days and do service projects that help the community, go on a trip and see all the good in the world and by doing this they grow together. This in personal experience of going last year creates long lasting memories and then you can relate to those who care and shows you that are tons of people around you that are the same.
