Hi I'm Kandal

I believe that dancers are the athletes of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a Freshman in college and I love it! Going to college is a huge step for me, and I was really afraid at first. But I got involved as soon as I could, and it made the transition much easier! I am on the dance company here, and I get to dance about fifteen hours a week. I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven for giving me this opportunity! It can be hard to manage my classes, church responsibilities, and dance but I would not have it any other way! My dad teaches Seminary as a profession and my mom is sixth grade school teacher. I believe in smile therapy and I cannot wait for all the exciting things coming up in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since birth, and I was lucky to grow up in a very gospel centered home. My dad has taught seminary my entire life, and growing up I would often get home from dance in the evening and he would be sitting at the kitchen table and would ask me to listen to his lesson for the next day. What I learned from those lessons helped me so much as I got older and began attending seminary myself. And it eventually led me to gain a better testimony of this gospel. I believe that I am here on this Earth right now for a reason, and I believe that everyone else is too. I know that we are led today by a living prophet, and apostles, and that they receive revelation from our Heavenly Father to help up in these latter days. I am so thankful I have this guidance and direction in my life, and I pray that many will be able to find the joy I have found in it myself.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just being myself. I know that I am who I am because of my faith, and I try everyday to better myself through Jesus Christ and His gospel. I love working to be an active participant of this life and I believe that this is what the LDS faith is all about. Being proactive, living the commandments, and enjoying the time we have here.
