Hi I'm Austin

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah and have lived in Utah my whole life. I enjoy helping other learn new things like guitar.

About Me

I am a student at a university in Utah, and i am going into computer networking. I play guitar all the time and enjoy learning more about guitar. Music is a great part of my life. I love to listen to music, find new music, and go to concerts. I also love to snowboard, skateboard, wakeboard, camp, hunt, hike, watch movies, hang out with friends, and many more things.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in Mormon family my whole life. I grew up going to church and living the standards of the Mormons. As I was growing up I never really questioned the church too much. But as I got older I started to question it. I wondered if it were really true. I don't remember a time where I gained my testimony of the gospel all at once. I gained my testimony over time by going to church, reading the Book of Mormon, and praying. As I did so I came to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world, that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith is the Prophet of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ, and that we have a Prophet of God on the earth once more. I knew that it was true then, so I decided to go on a mission for the church. On my mission I came to know the gospel even more. I came to know That Jesus Christ is the Son of God even more, and what He had done and still does for me today. My testimony grew so much from studying the scriptures and praying daily. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the true and living Redeemer of all mankind. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration of the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that God has called a prophet for us today. I know that these things are true, and know these things have truly blessed my life in ways I can't describe.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my ward and helping those in it. There are many service projects that my ward has that I enjoy helping out in. I am in a young single adult ward, and because of of that we have many activities that bring many young people together as friends, which I know helps out so many young people in there lives.
