Hi I'm Stacy Rogers

I am from Arizona, United States, I am a mother of four children, wife to a Captain in the US Air Force. I am also a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 19 years to a wonderful husband. I have four children. Two of my children are autistic. I am a Mother that works really hard to take special care of my family, by focusing my work on my husband and children. I love to read, non-fiction, and educational material mostly because of my children's special needs. I am a self taught semi-gormet cook. And I volunteer at my children's school. I know sign-language and hope to help others on a more full-time basis as my children progress in ability. My husband is in the Military, US Air Force. We have travel to Utah, Montana, Texas, Missouri, Alabama, and Arizona. We have had the chance to meet and love many people from around this country.

Why I am a Mormon

I hold fast to the beliefs and doctrines of this gospel because it brings happiness and peace to my life. We have four children; two of them have the trials of autism. Three with a past of current siezure disorder. However, I have hope in knowing that this life isn’t the only life I will have to enjoy my children. The Lord has revealed through His prophets that my family can be forever and we will be together without disabilities, or challenges. This knowledge has helped me to enjoy every moment knowing that I have not lost a child; they are mine for eternity, through my obedience. The blessing of a forever family has also given me peace while my husband has served his country here in the United States and in Afghanistan. Knowing that our marriage is eternal through our faithfulness to our covenants to each other and to God, my husband and I can be a support and strength for each other in times of trail and hardships. Our family has a greater goal and that inspires us to be more kind, compassionate, and charitable, just as our Savior Jesus Christ would have us live.

How I live my faith

I do my best to teach my children about the gospel that I hold dear, just as my parents taught me. I teach them that they are Heavenly Father's children and they are loved beyond measure. I teach them that all people that live or have lived on earth are also God's children and we should treat everyone with kindess and charity. I also read the Bible and the Book of Momon to my children so that will be able to study and love the words of Jesus Christ and his prophets. I also attend church services every Sunday, where I can be strengthened by the uplifting words of Jesus Christ. I have a great opportunity for service by being asked to visit with other women at my church and pray with them and deliver a message of joy and gospel principles. I also have women come into my home and visit with me, and share my needs for their opportunity to give aid and recieve blessings or serving others. I pray daily with my Father in Heaven thanking Him for all my wonderful blessings, and comminicate my needs and worries. I also pray with my family and hold weekly devotionals (Family Home Evening) where we as a family can reaffirm the truthful messages of the prophets and the teaching of Jesus Christ. We as a family will also dicuss the specaial needs and concerns that we as a family or as an individual may be experiencing, so we can pray as a family for guidence and help from our loving Father in Heaven.
