Hi I'm Lisa!

I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, and trying new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lisa, I just finished college but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with my career and how I am going to get there. I've recently moved to a new city with my husband and we are trying to get out of college mode and get settled in a new place. I like to travel and try new things but I also love to spend time at home with my husband and our puppy. I got my degree in exercise science and I enjoy learning and teaching others about health and wellness.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that this is the church that my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, established when He was on the earth. I know that even though I am not perfect, the gospel is and through the gospel and Jesus Christ I can return to live with my Heavenly Father. I know that families can be together forever. I love this gospel and the joy and peace it brings to my life. No matter what changes I am going through, the gospel is always constant. It is so comforting to know that no matter where I go or what I am going through, I am not alone. Even though I life can be full of change and instability, the gospel has taught me that I can always pray to my Heavenly Father to receive guidance and direction or to simply know that I am not alone.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to be involved with the youth in my ward.I help organize and participate in our weekly youth group and teach them gospel principals on Sundays at church. I love finding fun ways to motivate the girls to live up to their full potential. I also get to visit another woman at least once a month to share an uplifting message with her and to check in with her and see how she is doing. This allows me to actively participate in the churches support system.
