Hi I'm Jordan

I have Asperger's syndrome. I like to spend my time with electronics. Oh yeah, and I'm a Mormon, too.

About Me

As I said in my super short intro, I've been diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome, which shows through my "lack" of social activity (I prefer to surf the web rather than talk to most other people). I've always taken a liking to "retro" and/or arcade-style video games, many of my favorites being on the Nintendo and Super Nintendo. In my younger days I used to build stuff with "Bionicle" Lego pieces, and I still have a lot of those things put together today. I play a children's trading card game called "Yu-Gi-Oh!" as well. I currently have two years of college under my belt, and after I serve my mission I'm going to increase that number. I was in the marching band in high school, as well as FBLA, Chess Club, and concert band (Also in the concert band during my college years).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith, and I continue to be a part of the faith because I've come to understand of its truthfulness through prayer and through living my life. I see the Lord's hand more and more often in my life as I get older, and I'm glad to know that I have a loving Father in Heaven who only wants the best for me. As an imperfect being, I'm glad to know of the atonement of Jesus Christ, and that alone has done so much to keep me going in life. I'm glad to know that Christ's church is on the Earth again, and I am not ashamed to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing myself to go on a mission and be one of those guys knocking on people's doors and riding bikes all over the place. In the meantime, I've taken to serve a calling as a "Ward Missionary", which for me means at least once a week I tag along with the missionaries that attend church at the same building as I do, helping them to make it to their appointments on time and providing my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Outside of church, whenever asked about my beliefs, I'm quite willing to expound on them and answer anyone's questions.
