Hi I'm Karla

I have a big family whom i love. I love basketball. I am happy to be who i am. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been in the church since i was born. My mom was converted thanks to my dad and the missionaries. She got baptized at the age of 21. i am grateful for the opportunity that i got to be born in the church and that i have the chance to attend the Young Women organization and earn my "medallion" from finishing my Personal Progress. It has been a great experience and even greater, a blessing to help out the other girls. I am a Laurel. I love to ponder through and study the scriptures. I apply a lot of the teachings from Sunday school in my life as a way to keep myself far from the worldly temptations. With the teachings of the church and the guidance of the Holy ghost as well as my leaders and teachers, i have accomplished many goals and i hope to succeed towards my future goals which are mainly about church and education.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since i was born. I have learned much through life it self, through church, as well as the Holy Ghost. I know that we as people, made of flesh and bone, aren't perfect and so that is why were put here on earth mainly due to the atonement. it was all planned out. Here there is a diversity of every little thing. From the type of food you like to who you are as a person. We all accepted Jesus Christs' plan. That is why we are here on earth. Life is preparation for the big test. Judgement day. We are here to know the difference between right and wrong. Sometimes wrong things seem right to most others or vice-versa, but thats why we are here, to learn what is actually right and what is actually wrong. I know the church is true as well as its teachings. i know what i need to do and with the guidance of my leaders and of our heavenly father i try my best to stay on the right path and it seems bumpy now but i know based on the choices i have made it could have been worse.

How I live my faith

I try my best to participate in almost every church activity they have. i know it benefits me. Especially the service projects done in the youth organizations. I try my best to give in order to get. I apply my knowledge of the gospel to be able to fulfill my task in the church and out in the world. I read scriptures as much as possible and attend church every Sunday. i do my best to pray with family every morning, evening, and night and any other time necessary. If not in family, i do my own. I try to be an example to others and make them know how bright that light in us can shine if we just do what we have to do, try to be like our brother, Jesus Christ.
