Hi I'm Nita

I am growing up in Arizona. I attend seminary and high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a relatively small town about half an hour to an hour away from any major cities. I am the jazz pianist at the local high school, and have been a member of the marching band and concert band there as well. I have had the opportunity and blessing of being able to do multiple years of schooling in one, so now I attend public school one year ahead of my age group. I have the opportunity to take college classes simultaneously as my high school courses, and am on my way to my Associates Degree. After high school, I plan to go to college and get a degree in either music, literature, or sociology, and get married to a wonderful young man who will take me to the temple. But not necessarily in that order.

Why I am a Mormon

I firmly believe that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is the one true church upon the earth.I have been taught since I entered my family that this is the one true gospel of Christ, the very same as the one He taught when He was upon the earth. I have been taught, from a very young age, to ask through prayer if the gospel was true. I have repeatedly taken up the challenge, and it has been confirmed to me time and time again that this gospel is correct and true. I have seen people who were not members of the church become infinitely happier after they joined. I have seen countenances shine brighter than one could ever think possible because of the knowledge of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I attend seminary every morning before school. I am the leader of my group of young women, and assist my leaders in planning activities to help these young women. I dress modestly every day, listen to clean music, and read wholesome books. I encourage my friends and classmates to read the wholesome literature and listen to the wonderful music, and I refuse to tolerate cursing in the slightest. I try to serve as much as possible, both by actions and by example.
