Hi I'm Shawna

I'm a mother and wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, sports. All of the things I can do with my family. I am a housewife and have worked part time a few small jobs. I have been married for 20+ years to my wonderful husband. I also enjoy surfing the internet and believe I can fix anything, because I can find out how on the net ;)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true gospel of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I beilieve that this gospel has been given to us for our good. I believe it makes me a better person and I am comforted knowing that our Heavenly Father has given me a prophet in these latter days to give us direction just as the people of the Bible. I believe this is the way to eternal family and that I may return to live in Heaven with my Heavenly Father someday if I do the things he has asked of me. i look forward to spending eternity with my husband and family if I continue to choose the right.

How I live my faith

I try to do what is asked of me. I try to treat others with kindness, serve my fellow beings and continue to learn more of the gospel. I have served in differrent areas of the church. I have spent most of my service in the primary teaching the children the stories from the scriptures and things that will help them in their future.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormon lifestyle is very normal. We try to keep the commandments, live positive and take care of our bodies. We heed the counsel and words of our prophets by daily scripture study, personal prayers and family prayers, serving those around us, hard work and intergrity, being honest and always striving to do our part in our communities. We try to be very involved and help when we can. We will forever be striving to become more Christlike and, with our families, trying to become eternal families. Show more Show less
