Hi I'm Ethan

I like music. I play the piano, saxophone, and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in the provo mtc, learning spanish so i can teach the gospel in honduras. I´m going to honduras in september of 2012. I also love music and video games. I love to play my saxophone, or play the piano. Music to me is an escape like no other. I can play my heart out any time i'm down or even bored. I direct a lot at church leading any groups that range from priesthood or sacrament meeting to small classes. I've also been told that i have a good voice. I like computers, and i've found a great interest in working with them deeper than just simply playing games. I've figured out many shortcuts and i've begun to understand the internal software and how it works. My computer also works like a journal. I can put everything about myself and all my interests into it to make it my own. I have an awesome family and a great home. I´m a missionary now, so I can´t mess around to much with computers for now, and i can´t play video games, but I love the gospel and I have a great testimony of this church. It has helped my life in many many ways.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an lds family, but contrary to some beliefs, we are not brainwashed as children to gain a testimony. Although I thought I had one when I was a kid, I eventually learned that my testimony was one I had been sharing with my parents. It wasn't until I was 14 at a youth conference during the testimony meeting that I gained one. Until this meeting, people my age seemed to not care about the church very much, they were 14 after all, but so many of my peers stood up and seemed to mature almost instantly as they shared their beliefs in tears. I gained my testimony in this meeting. I don't even know what it was i said when I tried to bare my testimony, but I remember crying like everybody else. The spirit at that meeting was so strong, that I could not deny the truth of the church. For no feeling like the one at that meeting could exist without God's active hand on our church. After that, I´ve gained several testiments by the holy ghost that this church is true. I also know that all those that follow the teachings of Christ with full obedience, will find in time that there life was led, and they became, the person that they wanted to be. I want that in my life. I want that security.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full time missionary for the church. I´m working hard to become a tool that my heavenly father can use, to bring to pass his plan of happyness for those who have yet to know about it. I´ve given up my life to God. by doing this, I can forget myself and give myself to Jesus Christ. Jesus can change me and all those who come unto him. Soon, I will be out teaching people, and helping them to be happy, by sharing the word of God. He has a plan for us all, and I want everybody i can to gain a testimony of the holy ghost, to know what that plan is.
