Hi I'm Bri Rogers

I love to dance, read and write. Someday I want to travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a cheerleader in high school, and no I didn't get bad grades. I'm currently going to college to become higher level math teacher, though that will probably change many times. My greatest goal in life is to do a little bit of traveling and then start a family. I love having fun and doing adventurous things like rock climbing, biking, swimming, tubing; I want to experience sky-diving, bungee jumping, snowboarding and hang-gliding, ect. The world is a beautiful and wonderful place that I long to see and experence; there are so many places I want to go: Paris, Greece, England, Sydney, St. Pettersburg and many other places.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of my Savior Jesus Christ with all of my heart. I was born and raised in the church but that doesn't mean I don't have a strong testimony of its truthfulness. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the restored church of Christ. I know that President Monson is a true prophet who communes with Heavenly Father daily in order to recieve revelation for us. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me beyond anything I can possibly comprehend and that I have infinite worth in His eyes. I know that Jesus Christ bled and died for me, as a result, he KNOWS me better than anyone else, better even than I know myself. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon correctly and that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. Through prayer and faith I know that any hardship or heartache can be lessened because our Father and Brother are always listening and They want us to be happy. We can really do anything if only we rely on the Lord. I also know that we may not always feel good enough or strong enough but I know that Heavenly Father does "not call those who are qualified, He qualifies the called." I love how I feel when I'm living the teachings of this church and I love the happiness that is in my life because of it.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm a freshman at college so I haven't been extremely involved in the workings of the church yet. In the past, I have taught and been a counselor at a camp the LDS church does every summer for young women ages 12-18. I participated in a special event over a few summers called Especially For Youth or EFY where we have a ton of fun getting to know new people along with learning more about the teachings of Christ. Currently, I'm helping organize classes for my student ward at college.
