Hi I'm Julie

I am a wife, a mother, a piano teacher, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have been married for twenty years and we were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple I am a mom of 3, 2 girls, 16 and 11 and 1 boy , who is 9. I teach piano, which I love and I also work at Sephora part time. I love being a mom. It is an awesome and somewhat daunting job. I love spending time with my family, going on dates with hubby, reading, shopping, and going to musicals and ballets.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I was born into a family that was LDS and when I was eight, I had the opportunity to be baptized. I chose to be baptized because I do believe in Christ and also because I wanted to be with my family for eternity. In our church we have the opportunity to be together as a family for eternity. That meant a lot to me as I loved my family and it means even more to me now that I have my own family. I believe that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that because I have read it. I also believe the Bible to be true. I love the teaching that both books contain. I love the prophets and their teachings and they help me in my everyday life to help me with the trials and hard times that my family and myself experience. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored the gospel to this earth. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today and he receives revelation for us. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I love the gospel for the peace it offers us.

How I live my faith

I currently play the piano for our ward choir. I love this because music is awesome. I also serve as a visiting teacher. This means that I get to visit one or two others in our ward or congregation once a month and get to know them better. I try and be a good example to those around me as well. I am happy to answer any questions about my religion. I love being LDS.
