Hi I'm Cami

I love funny people, great friends and most of all my family. Oh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an aunt to the most adorable nices and nephews, a daughter to the most amazing parents and a sister to the funniest siblings. I enjoy organizing events, seeing others reach their dreams, being the "favorite aunt" ha ha! and vacations. I love camping as a youth leader, trips to the beach with friends and laughing with my family. I'm not the typical crafty-mormon, but I do enjoy other's gifts and abilities. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because at the end of the day despite other people's weaknesses, chosing to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ is where find the most happiness! I am a Mormon because I have searched, read, prayed and yearned to know if the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, and I know whole heartedly that it is. I am a Mormon because my heart resignates with it's teachings, it's truths and the Plan of Happiness that it provides.

How I live my faith

To me living my faith is harder than it sounds. I'm not perfect. Gasp! As a Mormon, I have at times felt a lot of pressure to be "perfect" but the good news is that NONE of us are! How grateful I am for the knowledge that through my relationship with my Savior that I can be. . . after all we can be perfected THROUGH Him and His sacrifice that He made for all of us! II'd like to think of myself as the clay in the master potter's hands. It's true, I am human and I make mistakes. It's true that people bug me and at times when I feel they are up in my face. It's true, I get angry and even give into temptation. BUT it's in those moments that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and ask for strength to be a better me, to ask for His forgiveness for my human-ness, and to ask for help and for a desire to become a better person. How grateful I am to continually shape myself into a better person through living my faith.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Absolutely. Throughout history God has chosen prophets to lead his people, and today is not any different than those times. He loves us. He wants us to have guidance. I am grateful that we have a Prophet on the earth today, and for the overwhelming spirit of love and peace I feel when I am able to hear him speak. Show more Show less
