Hi I'm Bryce

I am a newly married mechanical engineering student. I love my wife, my family, and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a university student majoring in mechanical engineering so that I can help create solutions to the world's energy problems. I love learning about how things work and how to make them better. I recently married my sweetheart and am excited to start our family together. I'm an avid reader and I enjoy playing the piano. My grandfather was a National Park ranger so a love of the outdoors runs in my family. We go camping, backpacking, kayaking, and rock climbing as often as possible. There's something about being out in nature that makes me happy and thankful to be alive.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe family is the most important thing we have. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, God has given us the chance to live with our families forever. Because of the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, we will all be resurrected and if we follow His teachings, we can live with Him and with our loved ones for eternity. As I have tried to follow Christ's teachings given to us in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and through a living prophet, my life has been filled with joy and I have been lifted up during times of discouragement.

How I live my faith

Through service in the Church I am blessed. Each day I am strengthened and renewed as I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible and strive to apply the teachings of the Savior in my life. Then each month I get to share what I have learned and how it has helped me with other members. Other members, in turn, visit me and share with me what they have learned, and all of us grow and learn together. I also enjoy playing piano in church meetings and singing in the choir.
