Hi I'm Chalise

I love to dance, sing, and play the piano! I have a big musical family. I also nanny special needs children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a big family with 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I love to sing, dance, play the piano and I attempt at the guitar. I nanny these special needs kids during my week and I can do this during the day because I'm also home schooled! I love being home schooled. I've been home schooled all my life and I am so glad that I have been. I'm a seminary student. I love seminary. I love my friends and I love my family! My family is the most important thing to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the gospel is true. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it twice now and I'm in my third time through. The first time I read it through was to complete my Faith project in my Personal Progress. While I was reading it the scriptures seemed to come alive and the spirit was with me all through my reading. I knew when I finished that book that it is truly the word of God. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. It was written by prophets called of God for our profit and learning. It is for our benefit. For our salvation. It testifies of the truth that Jesus is the Christ. The Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know that Christ died for me and for every soul on this earth so that we can live with our Heavenly Father again. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today and that he leads and guides our church. I have a testimony in the power of prayer and how amazing it is. I know that whenever I have a problem that I can ask my Heavenly Father and He will always help me. It may not happen all at once but in small doses. I know the power of the priesthood really is a great power from God given to man. I've experienced the blessings and miracles of that power in my life through my brothers. I am grateful for my patriarchal blessing. I am grateful for the knowledge of eternal families and that I can live with those that I love in the life after as long as I live righteously. I love my family and most importantly I love my Father in Heaven and I know that he loves me. I know that I am a child of God and have the divine potential to become like Him.

How I live my faith

I love going to church! I also love serving others through my callings.
