Hi I'm Charlie Culler

I'm a New Mexico native who's since moved to Arizona. I'm a husband and a father of two awesome boys.

About Me

I've grown up in the LDS church. I was born in New Mexico. My father is from Farmington, NM and my mother is from Katy, TX. My mom's family consisted of her parents and a bother. However, my dad's family consisted of parents and 5 boys and 6 girls, yeah I know, typical Mormon family right ;-) I'm in the process of becoming a dentist. My wife conveniently works as a hygienist. Family business in the future. My two boys are 2 1/2 and 5 years old. They are awesome boys. Very unique and full of life. My oldest just started tee-ball and soon soccer. I really like sports. I grew up playing baseball, basketball and soccer. I have also played tennis and ran track. I enjoy time socializing with my friends families and doing family outings. Our most recent family outing we went to a fair and my oldest boy and I rode ride after ride and I ended up getting sick, ugh. Way fun though.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up as a member I think there comes a point in anyone's life where they realize that they are in control of there life. When I realized this I quickly found out that I could literally do what ever I wanted and make my own decisions. I've always had a positive outlook on life and wanted the best for myself. I was given the opportunity to go on a mission at the age of 19. As I approached this age I found myself looking at my current situations and wondering if I even knew the purpose of why I was going on a mission. Was it because my Mom wanted me to go? Was I trying to impress anyone? Or was I really going because I wanted to because I knew what I had been taught growing up really was truth and I needed to go and teach others about what I knew to be true. I chose to go on a mission. With this decision I was able to study the gospel out for myself and discover more meaning from the current gospel knowledge I already knew. As I was teaching others I was also teaching myself and I grew to really know who my Heavenly Father was and the roles that Jesus Christ and the Holy ghost have in my life. I had many experiences were others came to the same knowledge and realization that there is more to this life and much for us to know. I have been so grateful for what I now now and couldn't imagine my life without the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently active in church. I regularly attend my church meetings and I have a calling in my local ward as an 11 year-old scout instructor. I have been raised with high standards. I try my best to watch how I dress, act and speak. I know that I represent all members of the church and that I should exemplify the standards of the church so that others may know the church's beliefs through me. I was told that as a missionary we are there at the doorsteps in the place of the Lord. Understanding this caused me to be very conscious about who I am. I know that I am a Child of God and for this reason I want others to know the same, that they are children of a Heavenly Father.
