Hi I'm Seth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

From rugby to football to basketball and cycling, I love all things sports. I am married and a father of two young children. I speak Romanian and spent two years in Romania and Moldova sharing the gospel. I love learning about other cultures and languages and visiting new places. Recently I completed my MBA and enjoy learning about business and economics.

Why I am a Mormon

From my earliest memory, I always felt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was Christ's Church restored upon the earth. This conviction was deepened and amplified as I studied The Book of Mormon and spent time serving in the Church, particularly as a missionary in Eastern Europe. Since I have become a father, I have realized more and more that true and lasting happiness is available only through the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church.

How I live my faith

For the past couple of years, I woke up at 5am every weekday to teach high school kids about the scriptures and the stories contained therein. This required diligent preparation on my part everyday, but it enhanced my knowledge of the scriptures and was a great experience. After that, I spent a couple of months working with toddlers 18 - 30 months every Sunday during church meetings. Currently, I work with high school kids ages 14 to 16. During the week we get together for service projects, sporting activities, and even campouts. On Sundays I work with them to prepare and pass the sacrament and then spend time teaching during our class sessions.
