Hi I'm Jarom

I'm a husband, naturopathic medical school student and a sports buff. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been happily married to the most wonderful woman in the world for 2 years now. Our lives are incredibly busy but we still find time for the important things like each other and The Lord. I am in my third year of medical school and love what I am learning. I am enrolled in a naturopathic medical school preparing to become a Naturopath. Naturopathic doctors have a different philosophy in how they treat patients, which I think closely follows the gospel. The principles are: first do no harm, treat the whole person, treat the cause, prevention is the best medicine, the healing power of nature, and doctor as teacher. Using these principles naturopathic doctors aid the body in returning to health by using changes in diet, herbal medicine, homeopathic remedies, physical medicine, hydrotherapy, and traditional chinese medicine. I look forward to being able to help people return to good health and live happy and full lives. I also make time to keep up on sports. If it involves a ball I'm a fan. Somewhere I find it in my schedule to work out, and I am preparing to run my first half-marathon soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and The Book of Mormon is true. It is the most correct book on the face of the earth. I love how simply it spells out step by step the gospel path that we must follow but then a few verses later deeply expounds on the mysteries of God. It gives us a better understanding of what a true follow of Jesus Christ should be. Another great benefit of being LDS is knowing that there is a prophet of the Lord and apostles on the earth today. They are in direct communication with our Savior Jesus Christ and receives inspiration to pass onto us that can help us all in our daily lives. There are many instances in my life that I have been inspired to be better because of their words. And through there teachings we can grow closer to our Savior.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith every moment of every day. I always try to do what I think Jesus would do. I strive to be honest in all my interactions and to be a friend to everyone. I find living the commandments easy because I have arrived at the firm conclusion that the only way to be happy in life is to follow the commandments.
