Hi I'm Karl

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 42 year old dad of 2 boys. I am disabled. I like to play with leather craft, working in scouting, go camping, work with wood and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Sometimes I ask my self the same question. Why do I go to Church? What keeps me going back? The only way I can answer is because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ is true. I feel the Holy Spirit telling me it is true. I could choose to go to any other church I choose or to just stay home for that fact but I choose to go where I know my Heavenly Father wants me to be. I learn so much about the Plan of Happiness their and the roll that out Savior plays in our salvation. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that through him and because of him we can all live with our Eternal Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I currently am the Secretary in the Young Men's program. It is my job to keep the records straight for the boys 12 to 18 years of age. I also work with the Scouting program in the Church. The Boy Scouts of America was started in 1912 in the United States. in 1913 The Church of Jesus Christ adopted it as the active arm of the Aaronic Priesthood. I help plan, organize, and execute many camps for the Young Men as well as other actives for the Scouts. From Merit Badge Clinics to week long Scout Camps. Mostly I live my Faith by living each day to it's fullest. In 1995 I fell off a roof and became paralyzed from my mid chest down. Though this has brought many hardships on me and my family I look to as a strengthening for me. Many times as new struggles happen I look to my past o see how I got through the last one. Each time I have seen that it was my faith in God, my knowledge that my Savior loves me, not to mention the love and support of my Wife and Family that has brought me through it. I know that with out my Faith I would be a bitter old man.
