Hi I'm Renee

I am the mother of 9 children and the grandmother of 11. I recently lost my young adult daughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I help my husband with his Real Estate business, which has been challenging in this economic market! I love to read, especially historical novels. I enjoy following politics and love a good political discussion. My favorite day of the week is Sunday when my married children and grandchildren come over for dinner. Spending time with my family and spending time serving individuals and the community makes me the happiest.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have come to know on a deeply personal level, through study and prayer that this is His restored gospel. As I have read His words in the scriptures both the Bible and the Book of Mormon I have felt of the love that He has for me. Even though I have lost a brother and daughter through death I have felt the comfort and peace that through His atonement we have the promise of eternal life. I have learned for myself that when I strive to follow His example that I experience true peace and joy. A peace and joy that I have experienced in no other way. I know that this is His authorized church on the earth today. That is why I am a "Mormon"

How I live my faith

I try to follow the example of the Savior in my daily life. I often fall short, but each day I start the day out in prayer and try my best. Once a month on Sundays I have the opportunity to teach other women about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though it is hard for me to get up in front of others I have learned a lot and it has blessed my life very much. I enjoy the wonderful sisterhood with the other women and am very thankful for the friendship that they have given me. I lost an young adult daughter to suicide 18 months ago and the love and care that they and their families surrounded me with helped strengthen me in a very trying and difficult time.
