Hi I'm Julie

I'm a new mom. I love baking, reading, and painting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the sixth child of eight and the only blond in a family of brunettes. Growing up in a modest and humble home has helped me realize that hard work and living within your means pays off in an abundance of blessings. Now that I have started a family I yearn to teach my child, and eventually children, these valuable lessons when they mature in age. I cherish my family, my temple marriage and the ability to be a new mother. There lies no tinge of regret for choosing to be a stay-at-home mom over a career. I love my life. I love learning how to be a better wife, mother and friend.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up near the Mesa Arizona temple brought me a desire: a desire to go there some day, to constantly seek Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ’s spirit, and to turn to Him at all times. I have felt tremendous amounts of love from my Savior and Father in Heaven, and I can’t deny the power and strength that He has given me to carry on no matter the circumstances that befall me. I know He loves me, I have felt that love, and the least I can do is return that love by helping others.

How I live my faith

Currently my calling is helping the youth as a Mia Maid Advisor, or in other words, I work with the 14 and 15 year old young women. I can only hope that the lessons I teach in church and the activities we do together each week, for what we call mutual, will remind them that they are daughters of God and He loves them. I am also currently on the Scout Committee, helping my husband with Board of Reviews and Courts of Honor, and a visiting teacher. My callings help me grow in ways both physically, mentally, and most of all spiritually.
