Hi I'm Vickie

I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in August 2000, that is when I found peace within myself.

About Me

I am Real Estate Broker. I love helping people, whether it being helping them find their first home or just taking a family a dinner when in need. My best friend is my husband, I know that he and I will be together for all time and eternity. My husband and I love to cook. We are what one might call foodies; we collect cook books, swap recipes, like to try different spices and when we travel we love to experience the food from the area. We are animal lovers, currently we have 1 dog, 2 cats and 7 finches. Our pets are our family and they bring laughter and joy to our home. Our backyard is like a bird sanctuary, we will sit on our deck just to watch and listen to the birds.

Why I am a Mormon

When the Missionaries entered my home 11 years ago I was a little reluctant. As they shared their testimonies, explained about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon it all made sense to me. I always wondered why Jesus Christ only taught one peoples. The Book of Mormon explains that when he was resurrected he went throughout all lands to teach the gospel. This was logical to me and the more the missionaries told me the more I wanted to know.

How I live my faith

The Church has something for everyone; there are homemaking classes, volley ball, basketball, softball, scouting and many other activities during each month. The members become like family, when someone is in need members pitch in whether it be just a visit or maybe a family needs help in moving are meals brought over. The Church is always involved in giving back to the community and teams up with other organizations to help around the world to those that are less fortunate or those who have just gone threw a disaster.
