Hi I'm Eric Ta'a

I was born & raised in Seattle, WA. I'm a fuel truck driver and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of three children, husband, and a grandfather of two grandboys. I'm a fuel truck driver for 18 years and love my job. I've been a member since 1989 and almost six yrs ago, I went inactive for 4 years , and within those 4 yrs, I watched my life spiral downwards . With no direction and no solid foundation in our home , it was hard for our family to feel the spirit. From the love that our home teacher showed us , it is the same love our Savior would want all of us to show others. That's the love we felt, whether I wanted him our home or not. His example of a worthy priesthood holder who fulfilled his duty as a home teacher and desire to serve faithfully , allowed the spirit to return into our lives. Not only did his example inspire me but it allowed my family and I to return to the church 17 months ago. Since then my wife and I have redeemed our temple recommend , I have became a temple veil worker , and we attend the temple weekly .

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the gospel principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The gospel is simple and true! I bare you my testimony that the power of the priesthood is real ,and what we do here on this earth matters very much and the gospel is true. The church of Jesus Christ is the only true church on earth , and the full restoration of the gospel was restored through Joseph smith. I know the book of Mormon to be the true word of God , I know Jesus is the Christ and the true son of our Heavenly Father . I know families can be sealed together forever in the house of our father. I believe that we're here on this earth for a purpose; to follow the path that our Savior laid for all of us to accomplish the Plan of Salvation.

How I live my faith

I lead my family in daily prayers, strive to be a worthy priesthood holder, father, husband and grandfather. I love to bare my testimony every first Sunday, I feel that we all learn from each others' testimonies. I do my best to do my home teachings and to show them the same love and respect that I give my own. I love and enjoy my calling in the church because the opportunity I have to lead as an example to all those whom I come in contact with; whether it's in the community or with members. I believe, no matter who it is, everyone wants to feel cared for. As a leader, my goals is to show the love and compassion to all those that I come in contact with. I strive to treat EVERYONE THE SAME; whether you're rich or poor; popular or lonely, we all need to be as ONE!
