Hi I'm LaReesa Sorensen

I am studying to be a veterinarian technician. I am learning to play the acoustic guitar. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. Right now I am learning the guitar, used to play the clarinet, and love to have fun singing Disney songs. I have been riding horses since I was 5 but still don't like to run ever since I fell off while running a few years ago. At college I am studying to become veterinarian technician. As long as I can remember I've wanted to have a career working with animals. I also love to read, ride bikes, roller blade, hiking, camping, many other things, and trying anything new.

Why I am a Mormon

My Great Great Grandparents were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Because of them and other family members I was born into the Church. Some people say that because of my family that is the only reason I am a member. That is partly true because I love my family but I have found out for myself why the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints is true. I have a testimony of the Church. I know that it is the true and only way back to Christ and the Father. The Father and the Son have given us the what we need to endure to the end and to be worthy to live with them again. One of the most important Christ has given us is the Atonement. He suffered for our sins so we won't have to feel the pain that he did in Gethsemane. When the feeling of loneliness and suffering comes Christ is there to help and comfort us. He knows the pains of all trials. The Bible and the Book of Mormon Testify of the Christ and that He lives. They have appointed prophets, from Joseph Smith to Thomas S. Monson, to guide and direct us in these latter-days. I know that everything I have mentioned is true along with many other things pertaining to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I say these things in the name of the Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I always do my best to participate in as many activities as I can to get to know other members in my ward better. I go to service projects, craft days, and meetings to plan events that we can invite non-members to come and have fun with us members.
