Hi I'm Jon Olivier

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married, first a foremost, to a wonderful wife. We just celebrated our 14th Anniversary. We have 3 children five and under. I enjoy playing and watching the traditional American team sports such as baseball, basketball, and football. I love hiking in my beautiful state of Colorado and have recently taken up the goal of hiking all the fourteen thousand mountains within its borders. I am a dentist, by profession, and love what I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, primarily, because I have gained a testimony through prayer and much consideration that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ restored in our times for the benefit of all. I believe that our Father in Heaven called a prophet about a hundred and eighty years ago to bring about the restoration of his ancient church and to bring forth a companion book of scripture to help testify of the truth of the Bible and to clarify some doctrinal errors. This was necessary because the Bible has been interpreted in so many thousands of different ways that the truth had become so hard to find. I believe that the morals of society is deteriorating rapidly around us and having a living prophet to help steer us back to the proper way that God set forth is truly valuable. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in various callings in church. I am a home teacher to some great families. I love that responsibility to get to know and provide service to some tremendous people. I have served as a teacher in Sunday School and Priesthood training classes. My current calling is to serve as a member of the Stake High Council. It has been a wonderful experience.
