Hi I'm Joey

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a beautiful wife that has way too much patience for me, 2 beautiful daughters and 1 rambunctious son. I am a native of Arizona and grew up in Lehi. Great place where you could ride horses, ATV's and enjoy outside activities that most kids don't get to do these days unless you live in a place like Lehi. One of my favorite things to do is travel...which doesn't happen enough! Been to Germany, Italy, Austria, Mexico, Hawaii and South Africa. I served a 2 year mission in South Africa where I experienced a great love for seeing new places and people. The last 8 years I have spent in the real estate business and also insurance and investments. Keeps me busy and I very much enjoy helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized a member at 8 years old. Though I am a life long member I really never had a testimony of the truth of all this until I was 18 years old. It all started with a sincere prayer to know if God and his Son Jesus Christ were real. I was surely visited that night with a powerful answer to my prayer and knew at that moment that I needed to change my ways. Directly after that experience I began to read the Book of Mormon. I read every word on every page and then prayed to know if this record was from God. Again, I received a powerful witness of the truthfulness of that book. I continue this day to follow the teachings as they have made a profound difference in my life for the better. It was such a wonderful experience on my mission in South Africa to see a difference the Gospel had in the lives of those I shared it with as-well.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is something that is done on a daily basis. I would love to say that I am 100% in studying scriptures every day and having family prayer and personal prayer on a daily basis but it always seems that work and other responsibilities get in the way. Its something I strive to do though. I always try my best to deal with others honestly and treat others with respect and kindness as I know we are all brothers and sisters spiritually. At church I am paired up with another member and we have a couple of families that we visit each month. Its a great time to share the gospel and receive blessings.
