Hi I'm Wendy.

I'm a native Arizonan. I love blue skies and beautiful sunsets. I love spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I graduated from BYU and served a mission to Peoria, Illinois where I served in the Nauvoo Visitor's center. I later moved back to Mesa where I married my best friend. We've been married for almost 20 years! We have been blessed with 4 great kids. I love working on yard projects, gardening, biking with our family, traveling, and watching our kids grow!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was baptized when I was eight. I continue to be active in the church because I am happiest when I live the teachings of the church. When I was serving my mission I had the opportunity of sharing Joseph Smith's story of the First Vision many times with visitors. My testimony of Joseph Smith being a prophet was strengthened so much at that time and I know he is a prophet. This knowledge has made a major impact on direction my life has gone. The church gives me a foundation for the choices and decisions I make and helps me in how I raise my kids. I feel the Spirit when I attend church and take the sacrament, when I read the scriptures and when I attend the temple. Being a member of the church gives me strength and peace during difficult times in my life.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher in the women's organzation. I get to teach about the principles of our faith once a month. I am also a visiting teacher and get to visit with women in our area. I attend a scripture class once a week where we are studying the Old Testament this year. I try to look for ways to serve in our community and help my neighbors. I work from home so that I can have a flexible schedule and be more available to my kids.
