Hi I'm Adrian

I have a family that I love, and that loves me. I am a school teacher. Teaching strengthen's me as an individual. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a home where the gospel of Jesus Christ was a part of life. I was taught the importance of service by a wonderful mother and father. I gained a testimony of and appreciation for Christ's teachings as a youth. I served as a full-time missionary for the Church in the Texas Houston East Mission. Upon returning home from serving as a missionary, I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where I studied Theatre/Speech Education. I later married and sealed in one of the Lord's holy temples to my beautiful sweetheart. Together, we have three wonderful daughters. We are a happy and blessed family. I teach school each day as a profession, assisting youth in strengthening their perspectives of life through secular truth.

Why I am a Mormon

I came to appreciate and reverence our Savior, Jesus Christ in my life as a youth. I grew up in a home where Christ's teachings were used as a pattern of living. Due to circumstances I could not control, I was teased and bullied throughout my teenage years. I relied on my Father in Heaven to support me when I had few to turn to. Prayer and scripture study became a vital part of my life in order to make it through the rough times at school and extra-curricular activities. My safe haven was at home with my family. I learned to rely upon my Savior, Jesus Christ and his teachings. I gained a strong witness of His life and mission on earth as I read daily from the Old and New Testaments and the Book of Mormon. I know the Lord was preparing me for a lifetime of service as I studied the way in which Christ taught while he lived on the Earth. I came to know that I was important and unique, and that my Father in Heaven loved me as he loves each of His children. I persevered through the rough times as a youth, and because of it, was better prepared to serve as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. While serving the Lord for two years, I gained a greater conviction of the strength that comes through righteous living, and grew to better understand and appreciate the power of effective teaching. I know that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us. I know he sent His son, Jesus Christ to set an example of righteousness. I know the Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ, and speaks to us today. It was written by power and authority. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth in it's fullness, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is that Church. I know that Joseph Smith was an instrument in restoring the Church, and was also a witness of truth. We all can know truth as we study, ponder, and act upon that truth in our lives.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have been called to work closely with the full-time missionaries assigned to our area. I coordinate missionary efforts with our local members in sharing the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with their neighbors and friends. I enjoy being a part of such work in sharing the gospel with others--seeing lives change as they draw closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
