Hi I'm Thomas

I'm a teacher and a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Spanish teacher at a local high school. I learned Spanish while serving as a missionary for the church in Veracruz, Mexico. I am also currently a graduate student, studying Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity. I grew up in South Portland, Maine and am a Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan. I enjoy being active outdoors, excersize, travel, and spending time with my wonderful wife. Up to now we have not had children, but continue to pray that our little family will grow soon.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both converts to the church at a young age and so I was blessed to grow up with the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. As a youth I was able to come to learn and feel how true and important the principles taught by the church were as I strove to live by them. My favorite memories of growing up in the church are of the friendships that were created while serving others who were in need. I am a Mormon because I have put the principles of the gospel in practice and they have enriched my life for the better, they have helped me and my family be happy.

How I live my faith

Currently, I teach a Sunday School class to 12-13 year olds as well as serve as a secretary for a group of local members of the priesthood.
