Hi I'm Kathleen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 20 years. I have four wonderful children that I homeschool. My oldest when he was four years old was diagnoised with Autism and my second son has vary difficulties. They are high functioning but still as a mother I have a hard time letting go. My third child from birth has been hospitals for heart and seizure things. My forth child is just a bottle of energy and hasn't stopped moving. My hobbies are cooking and baking and decorating cakes and sewing baby blankets. I serve on the school board and am very involved with my childrens education. They are my world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church so for me it has been a part of life until I was about 16 years old and started really reading The Book of Mormon and prayed about it and got the answer that this was the true gospel. I feel the spirit of the Holy Ghost in my life almost daily because I try and keep him in all choices that have to do with my childrens education and let him know what I'm going through.

How I live my faith

I am my wards Primary President which means I'm over the children from 18 months to 11 years old. It is a wonderful calling. The children are so sweet and they come in every Sunday and want to talk to me about their week and what they did in school over the past week. Before I started homeschooling my children I was room mother in all their classes. Also I worked in their classes atleast once a week. I was also very involved in the school. Know my children go to a Charter school that is off site and I serve on the school board. In my spare time i visit 4 women once a month and check on them and make sure they have no needs that I can help with.
