Hi I'm Terry Kennedy

I'mTerry. I grew up a beach kid in So Cal. I just started a nonprofit to help the blind drive with adaptive aids and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I am 50 years old, a former police officer and a 16 year old convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I also am into computers and run my own nonprofit called The Driving Forward Foundation which helps the legally blind and visually impaired return to driving. I have never found a church more honest in its teachings. The young missionary who tried so hard to explain Gods plan of Happiness struggles so hard to find the right English words that it was easy to see he was NOT trying to be deceptive and truly believed it in his heart. His words never changed. It is hard to lie between Portuguese and English when you are 18 years of age and believe in Christ. Thanks you Elder Chrisado!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well being a Church member in our faith means you will be doing something about what you are feeling. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a “Droning” Church. It is not one that will allow you to sit in your chair, nod your head and stay complacent. There is much work to do and all you need to do is just speak up and ask what you want to do. Most importantly if I compare my past faith of Baptist is that the priesthood that Christ setup on this earth did not die with him but rather is still alive and in use with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a mail priesthood holder I am able to serve the Lord in many different ways. Ways in which I would NEVER had been able before.

How I live my faith

Living the faith is easy. It is not a matter of what can’t I do but I need to only do one thing and that is “Obey”. Just attend my meetings, help my fellow man and neighbors and tithing like any other church. By being faithful in attendance and doing what I can to help others I become more like Christ and what he taught. It is really not hard to be a Mormon.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Terry Kennedy
It is by the Grace of our Heavenly Father and through the atonement of Jesus Christ the through this we have the chance to return to be with our father in heaven. God’s grace sent Christ and he paved the way for us to be worthy through Christ’s sacrifice. Show more Show less
