Hi I'm Lynn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have eight children. I am a teacher of math at a Junior High School. I have been teaching for over 30 years. I also coach sports(football, basketball, soccer, tennis, etc). I enjoy the outdoors and often go camping with my family. Our favorite spot is Knoll Lake. It is a primitive camp site.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a christian and believe in Jesus Christ. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me to be a better christian. I am refered to as Mormon because I believe a book titled "The Book of Mormon" is a religious book that testifies of Jesus Christ. This book tells of a group of people that lived in Jerusaleum and migrated to the American continent. They were believers of Christ and worshiped Him. They kept a history of their lives and it recorded it in The Bookof Mormon. The Book of Mormon is second witness of Jesus Christ. It leaves no doubt in my mind that Christ is the Savior of the world. He died for our sins. I am thankful for this testimony.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday from 9 AM to 12 PM. I attend a worship service called Sacrament Meeting, then go to Sunday School, and finally Priesthood Meeting during that three hour block. I serve as the Ward Clerk in our Ward (Mormon churches are called Wards). I am also a Home Teacher. This means I have a stewardship of visiting families I have been assigned, once a month, and seeing how they are doing and delivering a religious message.
