Hi I'm Elder Plumb

I'm an Arizonan. I love my family. Life is Good! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving in the maryland baltimore mission. I love meeting new people who will talk with me about Christ and his plan and gospel. I will do anything for my family and people close enough to call family. I love to give service. I dont like working on my own to much, i perfer to work with others. I am an Eagle Scout. I am a Vigil Honor member of the order of the arrow. I love hiking, shooting, camping, sports, and Jesus. I have a few Major goals in life, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints guides me to these goals.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I was born mormon but, the reason that i love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that I know that when i get married and sealed i will always have my partner with me if i strive to live worthy. The Church explains where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going, and knowing those principles gives me strength and a goal. I know that through the Attonement of Christ i can be saved. No one is perfect and the lord knows that we face many temptations every day. The Church also has a book that no other religion has "The Book of Mormon" which is another testament of Jesus Christ. There is a point if you are born in the church that you have to decide if you know its true or you choose to fall away. Well my choice is to follow the Christ's Church and strive to live in a way that is righteous. I am thankful for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I will strive to live the teachings of the gospel, and the prophet who receives revealations from god for the church.

How I live my faith

I choose today to follow Christ. I will choose him tomorrow and forever. I make mistakes, and I repent. I trust in God, and he has never failed me. My loyalty is first to the lord and my family then,to my friends, all else come after.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Elder Plumb
A Testimony is opening your heart to others and showing them the truths that fuel your actions. A "Mormons" testimony gives them the desire to stand as a witness of Christ and his divine role in our lives.Christ's Atonement can help us through any possible struggle we are or can go through. When you have a testimony you will do your very best to stand up for your values and choose to follow the Savior. Show more Show less

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Elder Plumb
God. When a prophet dies the apostles come together and ask God who is to be the next prophet, God answers and calls a man to lead his church. Show more Show less
