Hi I'm Evan.

I love my wife and family. I love the ocean, traveling, and riding waves on a bodyboard. I am an editor and social media marketer.

About Me

God, my wife and family, and friends are the priority in my life. I feel that without these elements I wouldn't be the person I am nor would I be happy. Besides that I'm a return missionary from Madrid, Spain, and college graduate of political science and public management from Brigham Young University of Hawaii. I'm extremely passionate about the ocean and wave riding, and traveling to new places to do it. By traveling to new places, I've been able to meet new people and experience more of what the world has to offer. This same passion has also led me to many aspects of journalism from editor, contributor, and social media marketer for over six years. Lastly, I am a firm believer in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through training and a well rounded diet.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is the Lord's church. I'm a member because of the peace and understanding it has provided me of life from where we come from, why we are here, and blessing of the world to come. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. That through him all can find happiness and return back to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Life is rough and full of challenges of all different types. Despite all these challenges and things to concern myself with, I know that through Christ I find peace and happiness because I don't have to bear all of this alone. With faith that all will be taken care of, come whatever may come, I find joy.

What is faith?

Faith in Christ, to me, really does move mountains. I've seen how it has provided a way for me through life. It gives me hope for the future and a mindset to enjoy things right now. Sometimes faith may not be the easiest choice to turn to, because sometime life pours a lot of awful stuff on one's lap, but it will always be the right and most rewarding decision to make. I know that because I have seen it. Not in just one isolated incident, but I've seen it so many times and still see it everyday of my life. Therefore, without any hesitation or doubt, I know faith in Christ is real. Show more Show less
