Hi I'm Henry-Scott

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent 8 years working for the Walt Disney Entertainment Division both in California and Tokyo. But wanted to go back and finish my degree. So I came back to the states and went to Southern Utah University. There I met a beautiful woman that later became my wife. We moved to Spokane Washington, so I could attend Gonzaga Law School. We thought we would move from the area after our 3 years there, however, we quickly found that the inland northwest would be our new home. After losing my job, I started my own Advertising Agency and love every minute of it. I love golf and love to fly model airplanes. But most of all, I love my wife and daughter and enjoy spending every moment together with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My family, like most, has not been immune to the roller coaster known as life. The everyday ups and downs that make life thoroughly enjoyable one day and seemingly unbearable the next. But the simple fact that is that through my faith, I have grown in the ability not to dwell on the lows of the moment, because I know they are fleeting, but instead focus on all the blessings that I have in my life. I know that through the trials in our life, we only grow better, stronger, and with the more focused ability to discern what is truly important in life. I know that Christ died for everyone. He loves everyone and He wanted everyone to live again with Him after death. This knowledge has kept me going many times in life.

How I live my faith

Over the years, I have been able to serve in our church in many different ways. Years ago, I taught the youth in an early morning class called seminary. 5 days a week before school started, we would meet and study the scriptures. Although I did not like the very early morning hours, it would not trade that part of my life for anything. I enjoy now watching my students growing up and getting married and having children of their own, all strong with testimonies of Jesus Christ. I currently am the ward mission leader. That means I get to coordinate the ward's missionary activities. I get to meet with the missionaries (the young men with white shirts and name tags) on a regular basis in my home. That always helps have the Spirit in our home on a regular basis.
