Hi I'm Sarah

I'm 20 and going to college for Pre-veterinary medicine with my husband by my side. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I love to sing and dance. I get lost in my books and found again in my scriptures. Horses are my passion. They catch my breath and take it with them. I want to become an equine veterinarian so I can look out for my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but as my family and I have been through rough times I have seen how the church has looked out for its members and how the Lord has carried us. I have been down into the lowest depths of depression only to find that there is where my Savior was waiting with arms outstretched to help me out of it. The Lord and Jesus love me more than anyone here on earth ever could and in return I give them my absolute best. I know that even when I fail, He will forgive me if I repent. This church in specific is true because I have read every page in the Book of Mormon and have felt it testify unto me that nothing else makes logical sense except that the Book of Mormon be the word of God. And since those scriptures are true, then Joseph Smith Jr. the translator of the plates is a true prophet. If Joseph Smith Jr. is a true prophet, then the church which he created is true. There is no other option, nor is there any that I would take.

How I live my faith

I have been assigned to be Vice President of my local institute class. As Vice President it is my duty to invite and encourage attendance. It is my duty to propose and support service projects. And my honor to support my President. To make sure I am an example unto my fellow students and peers, I spoke to my academic advisor and told him I could not attend a weekly appointment with him. As a result, I have also taken on more duties as his assistant, but I gladly sacrifice my time and energy in exchange for being able to attend institute. Each day I represent the Church by dressing modestly and not attending those "fun" college parties. I invite my friends to attend church with me and study the Old Testament in institute. I've asked my friends to watch there language around me and I've forgiven them for there mistakes. I've made sure that my friends know I will have their back if they ever need it and know that I will keep them in my prayers.
