About Me

Well, to start my name is Kelton Stewart, I am the oldest in my family I am the first to arrive with my family on the earth. I am attending a university it is called Utah Valley University, I am currently learning about Film, and am participating in the Digital Media Program and I am currently majoring in it. Film has been something that I wanted to do since the time I got involved with a film group we make short films and stories for others entertainment, I want to be able to participate and be able to learn how to make films professionally as well as a hobby. The other thing I would love to do is, Draw, I want to be able to design products for other companies. My second choice is to be an Industrial Designer, I want to be able to major in Art and be able to receive a Bachelors Degree in science and technology. I am a runner, I have ran Cross-Country on a High School team, I was the team captain and lead our team to a 4 more ranks in state. Much better than the team had ever done. I also was a wrestler, I got involved with a lot programs. Plus when I got involved with Track and Field I set off a lot of really good records as a long distance runner, but I have learned so much and I have improved my body physically. Acting has also been one of my favorite hobbies. I have received superiors in both Region and State, and participated in community plays and High School plays and also performed pieces both Dramatic, Humorous, and Scenes. I really enjoy what I do

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I want to share with you is because I know that it can make you happy. I have been diagnosed with Autism since I was 4 years old. It was a higher form of Aspergers Syndrome, the doctors told me that my symptoms were so bad that I wasn't going to be able to live with my parents. My mother did not want that to ever happen to me. Since my parents were Mormon I was baptized a Mormon since I was 8 years old. I have always believed there was a God. And that he loved me, but sometimes I questioned that he did love me. While growing up and learning in the educational system, I was never supposed to improve as well as I have. I believe that God was helping me improve because of my belief and my love for him. I started to read the Book of Mormon until about the 9th grade while I was getting involved with seminary (church school) I was watching conference and I listened to Gorden B, Hinckley invite me to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. I didn't really know for sure if the church was true, I believed it. Until about New Years eve, I read the Book and I felt something good inside, I knew that God was talking to me. I then did what the challege told me, I prayed and I received a confirmation by that same good feeling. I knew at that moment that God loved me. I knew that Jesus Christ was my savior and that he would help me. I knew that the principles would help me become a better person, and I had Faith that God would always be there for me and that he would help me improve. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

The way we live our Faith is simple, we read our scriptures, by reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and other revelations we receive by the mouths of his Holy Prophets. We pray unto our God and we worship him by attending Church and do everything we can to live a good life. And keep his Commandments, when we do these things we understand that by Jesus Christ's Grace we can receive the blessings of happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. That is how I live it, and that is how we live it. I used to serve a mission for the Church, and I have enjoyed seeing many come unto Christ and allow him to affect their lives and their families. Now I serve in a church calling as a Temple Coordinator, They give us volunteer opportunities because we believe in participating in building the Kingdom of God on the Earth, and improving our talents in this life. I love my job!

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

If you are doubting the existence of a supreme being, I am going to have to ask you to step aside from your logic and the idea in your mind, and I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself "Who am I?" you are an intelligence. Created by something more wiser and more all-knowing, omniscient and all loving being. Something allowed you to exist, look at the creations and the space around you. You are definitely not alone in this grand scheme of things. You can tell the most though if there is a God, when you Pray unto him and when you study the scriptures, cause if you listen very carefully in your heart and in your mind. You will be quite surprised at who you will be talking too. Show more Show less

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

There is always, a way to know him personally, however we are not going to know God immediately like a magic wand. The way we can know him for sure is if we intimately get to know him more personally. And that is through Prayer, we can talk to him and we can communicate to him whenever we please, because you can imagine him being a concerned parent over a daughter or his own son, that is how much he really loves us, he wants to hear about our success stories and we can consent to him on what we want help with in life. I have felt him talk to me and I still hear him speak to my heart. So when you pray get down on your knees and and talk to him. Maybe at first your not sure if he is listening or if your just talking to yourself. Trust me, your not alone. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith in my words are quite simple, Faith is the evidence of things not seen. When we believe in God or believe in the Book of Mormon we are on the brink of building our Faith. We must have a desire to believe and to be able to search the scriptures and pray. When we do we receive Revelation which is evidenced by the Holy Ghost. When we feel that it is right our Faith is increasing because you hoped you would receive an answer, You can have Faith. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Jesus Christ in the New Testament says: If ye love me, keep my commandments. We are given Grace by Jesus Christs Atonement. Unless we Repent of our sins and keep his commandments then we are granted the opportunity to return to our Father in Heaven. No unclean thing can enter into the presence of God. Show more Show less
