Hi I'm Dave Francis

I'm a few things-husband, dad, son, brother, friend, physician, lover of outdoors, all are improved by my worship of Jesus Christ.

About Me

Father of four and physician who enjoys the mountains and most of the ways to travel over them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to a mother born a member, and a father who learned about and was converted when 18 years old. I remain an active member of the church because I recognized at an early age the spirituality, lack of hypocrisy/sincerity of discipleship, and divinely-inspired wisdom in the restored gospel that creates a culture of honesty, help, hard-work and happiness in individuals, families, and congregations. Which is in stark contrast to the culture of deceit, selfishness, laziness, and the resultant despair and darkness. I, like all converts and true Christians, prayerfully and carefully studied the Book of Mormon in conjunction with the Bible and found my understanding of Christ's gospel increase, but more importantly, I felt and knew God was telling me, through the Holy Spirit, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith truly was an inspired prophet of God called to restore Christ's church after long period of Christian confusion.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my following Christ and his teachings the best I can, this involves following his canonical revealed teachings, personal revelation and the revelation given to church leaders for me.
