Hi I'm Breanna

I'm a musician, crazy sister, devoted friend, ecstatic teacher, lead teller, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work as a lead teller for a local credit union. Work tends to keep me pretty busy throughout the week but I still enjoy spending time with my family and friends in my spare time. I am living on my own and work hard to make sure that the gospel is still a large part of my life even though I don't have Mom and Dad to make sure that it happens. I love music and someday would like to finish my degree in music education, and would love to return to teaching private music lessons. Music has always been a large part of my life and will be forever. I definitely love sharing my testimony through music!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I have been raised LDS my entire life. When I was a young child I was very determined to gain a testimony of my own. I was maybe 6 years old. Maybe 7, I can't entirely remember. But I remember that I had been reading from the Book of Mormon and wanted to know if it was true. I knelt by my bed that night and prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if it and the church was true. I received an answer through the spirit that night that testified to me that it was. I have never forgotten that moment in my life and have been able to continue to strengthen my testimony ever since. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and can testify to you that it is true. And when something is true, why wouldn't you want to pursue it?? I have found great comfort by being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout the hard times of my life. At times where I may have wavered I found that the further I drifted the worse things got. The more I built a relationship with my loving Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, I found great comfort and was able to bear my burdens with greater strength and make it through the trials that life had thrown my way. I would never want to imagine my life without the church in it. I have been so blessed by it and my testimony is as strong as it ever could have been.

How I live my faith

I was recently called to serve as a primary teacher and ward organist. I love playing the organ for Sacrament Meeting and being able to share my testimony through my talents. I teach the CTR 6 and 7 classes which means I have 6, 7, and 8 year olds in my class! I love how enthusiastic they are about learning the gospel and that they are so energetic and willing to help others learn as well. I also love to go to the temple!! This is a place where we can receive great revelations and help those who have passed beyond the grave. It is a place that I can find great peace, which has been very important to me as of late as I have gone through some difficult trials. I have found that The Lord is always willing to listen to me as I pray and that reading the scriptures has helped me a lot :) I've also started doing family history work and have been able to find several names in my family tree needing temple ordinances done. As I have gone to the temple to participate in these ordinances I have felt the Spirit strongly as I can feel a special connection to these loved ones on the other side of the veil!
